Saturday, April 26, 2025; 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This is an excellent opportunity for community members to engage with our conservation efforts and learn about sustainable practices. This event would feature a variety of activities, informational booths, and resources focused on community resources.
Arbor Day is also celebrated at this event and will include some free tree seedlings (1 per family). A beautiful Butterfly Bush will be raffled off to enjoy as well as something from Home Depot. Spring is a great time of year to plant a tree but also a wonderful time to get outside and enjoy all that nature has to offer. With your free Arbor Day trees, you’ll be making the planet a better place to live.
The Conservation Fair will consist of:
- Exhibitors geared toward conservation
- Small Workshops (DEC, Soil & Water)
- Community Handouts/Literature
- Specific Raffle Items
- Fun and cool Kids Korner Activities
- Tree Seedling Giveaway (1 per family)
- Breakfast Pizza, Coffee, Juice, Water (Donations are welcome)
