10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This event will be focused on enjoying the experience of running the dogs in a goose and duck hunting scenario. Plenty of conversation regarding waterfowl hunting and the many memories of watching Andy Merkel handle his yellow lab, Roy, and winning the highest score the last four events we sponsored.
Asking donation of $35 per dog. All donations will go to the Bird Conservation Project at the Pond in Andy’s name.
All levels of sporting dogs are welcome to enter. We will not be scoring the CRHC but will have a handlers drawing for sponsored products. The only prerequisite is that the dog is conditioned under the gun.
All handlers will be required to use a goose and duck call and shoot a 12-guage popper load resembling a real hunt. We will have plenty of help for any handler that needs assistance with their dog.
